A word from our CEO

Sara Morris – Director

Twenty-five years of dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment have shaped my journey. From the early days of chalk-dusted blackboards to the digital classrooms of today, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of education. Each student, each spark of curiosity, has left an indelible mark on my heart.

Learning4Life-Gy isn’t just a school; it’s a place where students feel safe, where resilience blooms, and where futures are forged. The corridors echo with laughter, determination, and the promise of brighter tomorrows.

I am proud—immensely proud—to lead a team, along with my Principal, that believes in the magic of learning. Our teachers, our staff, our students—they are the heartbeat of this vibrant community. Together, we weave a tapestry of growth, empathy, and possibility.

As the sun rises over Grimsby, I see not just a school building, but a sanctuary of hope. Our vision extends beyond textbooks—it embraces life skills, emotional intelligence, and the courage to dream big. We celebrate diversity, knowing that every shade of experience enriches our collective story.

So, here’s to Learning4Life-Gy—a beacon of resilience, a harbour for dreams, and a testament to the transformative force of education. As we move forward, I carry the weight of pride, gratitude, and an unyielding belief in the potential of every learner.

Learning4Life-Gy is a beacon of inclusive bespoke education, nestled in the heart of Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. Our mission is to empower students with diverse needs through personalised learning journeys. Here’s a glimpse into our strategy:

A bit about me

CEO

I’m a proud parent of two wonderful adult children who have brought immense joy and purpose to my life. And guess what? The joy doesn’t stop there—I’m also a doting grandparent! Watching my grandchild grow and explore the world is an absolute delight. My husband is a skilled carpenter and fills our home with his craftsmanship. When he’s not busy with woodwork, you’ll find him revving up his beloved motorbike, waiting for the sun to come out so that he can go for a ride.

I am a garden enthusiast. There’s something magical about sinking my hands into the soil, nurturing plants, and watching them bloom. My garden is my sanctuary—a place where I find solace and inspiration. Whether it’s tending to flowers or growing fresh herbs, I’m happiest when surrounded by greenery.

I have two furry companion, Narla and Luna, who are Jerry Green dogs. They’ve wiggled their way into my heart, and I cherish every tail wag, wet nose, and playful bark. Their loyalty and unconditional love remind me of life’s simple pleasures.

At the weekend you will find me with binoculars in hand, scanning the skies for feathered visitors. From robins to elusive woodpeckers, each bird brings its own story. Their songs weave a symphony that resonates with my soul. I have many feathery visitors in my garden and I spend a small fortune in food to support their appetite.

I am also, the Chairman of the Enrolled Freemen of Grimsby and take pride in leading a community of like-minded individuals—the Freemen of Grimsby. Our shared history, traditions, are preserving local heritage, especially Freeman Street Market.

Ready, Respectful, Safe.
