As a visitor, if you are going to be working alone with children, it is an expectation that you bring a hard copy of your DBS Enhanced clearance with you on your first visit as well some form of photo ID, such as a Photo Driving Licence or Passport; you will be asked to present them to our Reception team upon arrival.
If you work for a body such as the NHS or the Local Authority, you will only be asked for evidence of your photo ID badge from your place of work, again, to present to our Reception team upon arrival.
You will be presented with a visitors badge which contains our safeguarding information card and asked to sign in. Reception staff will inform you of the fire evacuation plan and meeting location. We ask for your consideration when travelling around the building, as a SEN school our learners can be anxious of strangers but they are friendly and some will happily greet you.
