School Meals – Update

School Meals – Update

by | Jul 18, 2023 | News

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Changes to Our School’s Dining Experience

We hope this letter finds you well. As we prepare for the new academic year, we want to share some news regarding our school’s dining services.

Starting in September, we will be partnering with local “bun shops” to provide delicious and nutritious meals for our students during lunchtime. This change will offer a wider range of food options, including hot and cold sandwiches, baked potatoes, chips, and more.

We understand that change can be met with reservations, but rest assured, this decision was made with careful consideration. The “bun shops” we have selected are known for their commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients and excellent food hygiene standards.

This transition also comes because of a financial decision. Inflation has been significant, with costs rising by over 20%, making it unsustainable for us to continue cooking meals on-site. By partnering with these local establishments, we can maintain high-quality meals while managing costs more effectively.

We believe this change will provide a diverse dining experience for our students and free up resources to focus on our core educational objectives. It will allow us to allocate more time and resources to create innovative educational programs and support systems for your child’s academic growth.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in contact with the school.

Regards

Louis
