Learning4Life-GY is committed to providing the best and most relevant learning experiences to its learners and trainees. To support and improve this experience it has developed a range of quality assurance and improvement processes. This code of practice outlines Learning4Life-GY’s commitment to ensuring governance over learner outcomes and ensures that approaches and Quality processes are carried out with rigour and fairness. Quality assurance and Quality Improvement will be embedded into everything that we do. This enables us to manage the way that we work with our learners, measure and evaluate the quality of our work, and seek ways of continuously improving the way we do things.
Learning4Life-GY will develop the skills of its staff at all levels by providing access to training and education through a CPD programme that encourages individual staff members to access training opportunities. This includes mandatory annual updating of Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety training; alignment with the KCSIE guidance on CPD for staff and relevant accredited training alongside.
Learning4Life-GY operates in alignment with the statutory Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Code of Practice; to do this an annual in-depth report is completed which you can access here
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people. Learning4Life-Gy is no exception to this; Ofsted’s role is to make sure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England do so to a high standard for children and students.
