Ready, Respectful, Safe.

Below you may find a list of all the staff working at Learning4Life-Gy, whether it’s directly helping learners to flourish or supporting the team behind the scenes.

Learning Support

Learning Support staff play a crucial role within our setting by providing invaluable assistance and care to students with diverse needs. Our LSAs offer personalised support to ensure that each learner can access and engage with the curriculum effectively by working with individuals or small groups and adapting their methods to suit each student’s unique learning style. Learning support staff also collaborate closely with our teachers to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that fosters development within our school. Their dedication and expertise contribute significantly to the success and progress of our learners.

Teachers

Our experienced and dedicated teachers play a pivotal role in providing a tailored and inclusive education for our learners. Teachers work to develop a throrough understanding of our learners, allowing them to adapt and customise their teaching methods to meet the individualised requirements of each student. They create a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment, fostering the development of academic, social, and life skills. Collaborating closely with learning support staff, teachers implement effective strategies that maximise each student’s potential and help them realise their own abilities. Their dedication and expertise are vital in helping all of our students overcome obstacles to reach their educational goals.

Trainee Teachers

Learning4Life-Gy supports personal growth for those that wish to become teachers, providing courses and training to assist our staff with their own professional development, meaning some staff may have dual roles across both teaching, and support.

Business Administration

Our administration team are instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Learning4Life-Gy. Their roles encompass a vast range of reception and administrative responsibilities, working behind the scenes to ensure that our teachers, support staff, and students have the resources and support they need to focus on education and personal development, making them an essential component of our school’s success.

Pastoral

Learning4Life-Gy’s pastoral team plays a vital role in providing emotional and social support to our learners. These dedicated professionals are responsible for fostering a safe and inclusive environment, where the well-being and personal development of students are a top priority. They offer emotional guidance and a listening ear, helping students navigate the social and emotional challenges they may face. The pastoral team also collaborates closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop individualised support plans for students and address any concerns. Their role is essential in promoting a positive school culture, building strong relationships, and ensuring that our students feel valued, supported, and able to thrive in their unique learning journeys.
